I have just completed the first part of my eagle project (clearing the creek). We were not allowed to clear the creek before June 1, because of fish spawning. The creek clearing was a great success. Twenty-six people came and helped out. We had a brief presentation by an expert from the Riverways project on what to clear and then we tackled the creek. We did a great job. The fish are much closer to being able to come up the creek. I would like to thank all those who came and congratulate them on a job well done. (Pictures will be posted shortly).

I have already begun work on the final part of my project, constructing the information board. This weekend I plan on going to the local lumber yard to find out how much money I need to raise in order to purchase the materials that will be needed. Yesterday, I sent a letter to a company about getting a discount on a display case to be put on the information board.
